Hello Guys, hope we are all hanging in there?

How’s the Quarantine phase been for you, positive, negative, optimistic, fun or boring?

 

     For me it’s been here and there ,started the isolation period optimistic that things will get better soon , then I drafted a lot of plans centred around school, reading different books and writing more, just things that would keep me busy , you know? But if you ask me how that’s going I can’t even explain, I am grateful I still get to write at least. Plus the online classes can be a drag sometimes and it does get tiring.

 

     At a point, I had to sit myself down and give myself a talk as I always do when things are not going well or the way I had planned, and now I am trying to work things out and go back to the initial plan.

 

     Knowing I can’t be the only one going through this since we all are experiencing the pandemic in different parts of the world I decided to bring this here to see how you all are faring and what you are doing during this time . Also I will be sharing tips I feel may be helpful to go through this period. Have the mind that you don’t want to come out of this period of social distancing/isolation the same way you entered, instead you want to be better(in every possible way )

 

     That been said you can list out things you want to improve on and get better at;

 When this list is made you can set out a plan to work on them or make a timetable according to how you will want to go about it.

 

Okay to the main thing…

 

Read books- not just educational books but also self developing, skill acquiring, religious, and great fictional books, you won’t believe the amount of good writes that are out there and there is no better time to invest in extra knowledge than now.


 

Stay healthy - this cannot have been said at a better time , keep your body healthy ,exercise if you can get up to it, make sure you move your body ,eat good food and get those fluids in ; most importantly make sure you take care of your mind because there is no better health than a sane mind , you could eat all the good stuff but if your mind is not right then you are not healthy, so detox your mind as you are doing your body ,keep a positive spirit (you need more now),free yourself from fear and anxiety, meditate ,release bad energy ,be at peace with yourself, the world and everyone around you .

 

Get closer to YOUR God - most of us, myself included often make excuses about why we don’t pray as much as we should, talk to God or study the word as we should due to the fact that school and other activities tend to get in the way and it all just becomes overwhelming. Well I am happy to announce that now is as much a good time as there can be, so seize the opportunity as there is nothing to stop you now, build a relationship with God, become rebirthed in him if you feel you have strayed too far beyond redemption (God is always ready to take us back and be our savior as far as there is a genuine repentance .. okay I am straying and preaching so let’s get back) just make sure to use this time to reconnect.

 

Learn a new skill- many of us have a list of things we want to learn what a time to be alive and what a time to Achieve this – get your sources ,it may be someone around you also not forgetting Google and YouTube, they have lots of amazing contents on any topic or skill you may think of, start from somewhere and use this time to learn.


 

Invest your time in your education/career – this could also be the best of time to get better at what we do, be it with school.work or your career in general; you don’t have an excuse of time so use it properly and wisely to your best advantage.

 

Create-  what better time than now to work on new stuffs, new ideas , a lot has been on the drawing board which you are yet to execute so one after the other,day after day , pick one that you can work on , create new things that when you look back at this period you will be grateful for the time .

 

Recreate – you may have been feeling lost for a while or burned out ,trying to figure yourself out or rediscover yourself but you never really got enough Me time to sort yourself out , you can take time out to examine yourself and see what you are doing wrong or what you feel you should be doing that you are not. Study your personality figure yourself out and build your persona to exactly who you want to be. When you are coming out of this phase, the world will be seeing a new and improved you... Winkz…

 

In all keep a positive vibe – stay happy, stay cheerful ,do everything you can do to keep a positive vive , this too shall pass.

PS: Let s bear in mind this is not a period of pressure, do not beat yourself up if you don't get things done or get a new skill and all that . You are alive and healthy , celebrate that .
