GCF PEACE CAMPAIGN 2016

                     The 12th of December was a day of joy for the children of Eagles wing international school for orphans (39, Araromi Street, Bariga) as Christmas was brought to them at an early date.

              On this day, Glowcare foundation in partnership with Queen Irene onwuka peace foundation launched the PEACE EDUCATION CAMPAIGN tagged #myafricandream.

             The aim of this campaign was to teach the children of Eagles wings international school for orphans and educate them on basic skill acquisition. They also donated some items which included Books, Pencils, Markers, Marker boards, Crayons and school Uniforms to the students whose number was about 150 of those present. Also Chekwube also known as Nitemagic one of Glowcare foundation’s members and a talented artist trained the children on Visual arts this done to show that they could be creative And do different great things with their talents.

           Glowcare foundation is a non profitable organization whose purpose is to help the less privileged children out there with no one to assist them. For them good health, education and life of a child is paramount. Due to these reasons, they have made it their duty to provide for these kids along with their mothers and help them have an easier and better life.

WHO OR WHAT IS A FRIEND? ANY PERFECT FRIEND OUT THERE?       So this evening, I was having a chat with a friend who made me realize that there is no perfect person anywhere. Hahahah      As Humans, when doing one thing or the other, either we admit it or not we always need help or assistance ;but, due to the present world we live in where no wants to help anyone due to selfish reasons, it is hard to get the help we need.      I actually decided to write on this because of a personal experience that happened recently were I asked a young lady to help with something but she blatantly refused with no visible reason.       As humans, we should be able to help everyone and anyone who needs our help; be it a neighbor, a friend, an acquaintance or just a random person you don’t even know.       I know we might say it is hard for u

SHOW ME YOUR FRIEND...

Hey guys...    Happy new year from this side... I pray it will be a great one for us all? So today am here with my musings again and it’s based on the common saying "SHOW ME YOUR FRIEND AND I WILL TELLYOU WHO YOU ARE” In our opinion how true is this? During our relationship with people whose characters are not like ours or are not accepted by the society, are we able to stay neutral, do we change in our ways or do we just simply become guilty by association.   During such friendships are we able to make an impact on our friend’s life or we become like them (like the saying; if you can’t beat them join them) Let’s share and views on this and also think deeply on it for ourselves.
